K-6 Guidance

Elementary developmental guidance in the Three Lakes School District is based on the concept that all students should acquire skills at different developmental stages.  There is a comprehensive plan in effect that teaches specific skills at certain grade levels.

In elementary guidance, large group work is done each week with every class.  There are also small groups available in specific topics such as divorce, grief, study skills, and friendship.  Individual counseling can be requested.  Referrals to outside agencies are made at parent request.  The counselor works closely with local resources and area professionals to meet the needs of all students.
