7th Grade Teacher Email Phone: 715-546-3321 About Me My name is Terri Lorbetske, and I teach 7th grade English language arts and science. After attending our very own Three Lakes High School, I went on to graduate from UW-Eau Claire with a teaching degree in K-8 special education and 1-8 regular education. Right after college, I taught in the Three Lakes School District special education department for three years. My husband and I then started our family, which took me into a different level of teaching. I enjoyed and cherished every moment of being an at-home mom. Throughout those amazing years, I have had many wonderful teaching experiences with my own children as well as volunteering my time in the classrooms teaching others. I am happy to have returned to the Three Lakes School District as a 7th grade teacher. Together with parents, guardians, caregivers and fellow teachers, I enjoy serving these wonderful children. Teaching Philosophy We were all created with different talents. I feel blessed to be able to share my life with so many wonderful people, especially children. Children’s minds are so vulnerable to influence and persuasion from their environments, and I believe that next to a parent or caregiver, a teacher is one of the most influential people in their lives. This being said, it is our responsibility as teachers to train up our children in the way they should go. By using the resources we have in this talented world around us, we can give children every opportunity to find out how special they are. We can help them grow in maturity and use their wonderful minds and bodies to become productive citizens and people for generations to come.
