About Me

Hello, my name is Charlie Volk. I am a physical education teacher here at the Three Lakes School District. This is my third year in Three Lakes and my 21st year in education. I am also the activities director for the district. I am a 1988 graduate of Three Lakes High School, and I am excited to be back and working in the district that I graduated from and where my daughters are attending. I live in Three Lakes with my wife, Kari, and daughters Karlie, Kortnie and Kallie. I enjoy being outdoors hunting, fishing, any type of skiing, and participating in sports. I also enjoy watching - and often coaching - my daughters in sports.

Teaching Philosopy

My teaching philosophy is to get kids up and moving. I like to give students as many experiences as possible exposing them to a variety of different activities. I enjoy outdoor units with the kids. We live in an area that provides a variety of outdoor activities, and I want students to have the chance to experience these.
