Three Lakes School District has a long tradition of providing educational excellence. Our educational mission is to teach students to be productive citizens, and we believe the best way to accomplish this is to provide each student with a personalized education that will inspire him or her to become lifelong learners. Our motto, “personal education, lifetime inspiration” captures the spirit of who we are. Education can be measured by academic success, yet we know it includes so much more. Our students demonstrate their well-roundedness in many ways, whether it be preparation for college or technical school, proficiency in workforce readiness skills or the ignited entrepreneurial spark that leads each one to follow his or her own unique path. This success can be directly attributed to generations of community members, educators, families and supporters who have given our students the richest of learning and living experiences.
We strongly believe in our educational program and that — while virtual and online options are often appropriate — coming together as a school body is most effective. This was evident as we provided full-time on-site school during the 2020-2021 COVID 19 pandemic. What we knew before this event helped define our truth going forward. The world is constantly changing, and so are we for the betterment of our students and society. Veteran staff and new hires understand it is up to us to remain innovative educators and keep our students on the cutting edge of learning. Our education must provide rigor and relevance to best prepare for the future. We know that working as a cohesive team will lead to great results through engaged learners. This is achieved through building relationships with our students and their families that will last a lifetime.
It is my goal to continue this tradition of educational excellence while ever vigilantly seeking additional opportunities for our students and our citizens. It can never be said that TLSD is too small to provide the very best opportunities for her students. On the contrary, it continues to exceed the norms of public education and stand apart as a destination school district.
