About Me

Hello! My name is Kaylee McRae. This is my 18th year as an educator! I started my teaching career here at Sugar Camp School as the four-year-old kindergarten teacher for nine years and continued teaching in Lac du Flambeau for five years as a multi-level reading intervention teacher. I returned to Sugar Camp as the first grade teacher in 2021, and I have been dancing down the hallways ever since. 

I was born and raised in Rhinelander and continue to reside there with my husband, two children and our family pets. I have a master's degree in education with an emphasis on teaching reading, which just happens to be one of my favorite things to do! I look forward to getting to know the new first graders and having a wonderful school year together!
