Head Coach Laurie Levandoski
Laurie Levandoski is embarking on her 10th season as head coach of the Three Lakes cross-country team. A long-time runner, she grew up in Sauk Centre, Minn., where she ran on the track and cross-country teams in high school. During her senior year, she was a member of the cross-country team as they claimed a second place finish at state.
After high school, Laurie attended the College of St. Benedict, graduating with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a minor in communications. Following college, she lived and worked in Minneapolis before relocating to Three Lakes after marrying her husband, Jim, who is a native of the area. She has spent her entire career in healthcare and works as the director of performance excellence and productivity for Ascension Healthcare. Her responsibilities cover more than 20 Ascension hospitals from Eagle River to Racine. Laurie continues to run and has to her credit five marathons and more than 20 half-marathons.
"I love the sport of running and the varied athletes cross-country has attracted over my 10 years of coaching," Laurie said. "It is a great individual and team sport! I have been fortunate to have coached a number of outstanding distance runners, allowing Three Lakes to make several appearances on the podium at the state cross-country meet.
