2022 Operational Referendum, Three Lakes School District
On Nov. 8, 2022, residents of the Three Lakes School District will be asked to vote on a non-recurring operational referendum that allows our district to exceed state-imposed revenue limits by $4.25 million per year beginning with the 2023-24 school year and ending with the 2027-28 school year.
This referendum is necessary because Wisconsin schools operate under a state-imposed revenue limit that restricts the amount of money districts can receive each year. The district must gain approval from taxpayers to exceed those limits. Three Lakes School District taxpayers have supported similar operational referendums in 2006, 2010, 2013 and 2017.
If you have questions or would like more information, please consider attending a community informational meeting. District Administrator Teri Maney will lead these meetings and will be available to answer questions:
Monday, Oct. 17, 6 pm - Three Lakes Auditorium
Tuesday, Oct. 25, 6 pm - Sugar Camp IMC
Tuesday, Nov. 1, 6 pm - Monico Town Hall
