About Me

Having been in education for over 30 years, I am excited to share my reading passion with the Three Lakes School District as the district reading specialist and instructional coach. I grew up in West Bend, Wis., but have fond memories of vacationing in the Northwoods. After receiving my undergrad and graduate degree from UW-Stevens Point, I went on to receive my reading licenses from Viterbo University.

I began my teaching career educating middle school students with special needs as well as serving students at the elementary level. For the past 10 years, my capacity has been working with students who are in need of literacy support and supporting teachers with implementing literacy curriculum and high quality instructional practices.

During my free time, my family and I enjoy being active outside. We take advantage of what the Northwoods has to offer by kayaking, biking, hiking as well as snowshoeing. Of course, I always love to read a good book!

As a developer, I am a person who cultivates the potential in all and works to diminish barriers that keep others from experiencing success.
