About Me

I am the junior high cross-categorical special education teacher in the Three Lakes School District. I married in 2010, and have two adorable boys, Parker and Rhys. During my free time, I enjoy camping, hiking, single-track bike riding, boating, scrapbooking, crafting, watching my children grow and taking care of my dogs. I love being a teacher and could not imagine doing anything else!  

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe every child needs a safe environment to learn, to grow and to come into every day where he or she feels comfortable to explore and be themselves. Every student has unique talents, and it is my job to make sure those talents shine. As the teacher, it is my job to help students become successful in their own ways in school and in life. I have high expectations for all students in my classroom because I know they are capable of so much more than they know. I say, "Do not be afraid to make mistakes, for mistakes are what make us grow into a better person."
