About Me

I am a Three Lakes graduate, and I pursued my teaching career at Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wis. I returned to the Northwoods after teaching for six and a half years in the Milwaukee and Beloit school districts. I have been teaching and coaching here for the past 10 years, and I truly feel this is where I belong. Living in a place where most people come to vacation is never lost on me. 

My Teaching Philosophy

I love being an educator and helping students reach their full potential. My classroom is both educational and a place to develop social awareness. Together, we work to expand our knowledge and develop an understanding of ourselves to become better individuals than we were yesterday. A student needs to feel that what is being taught has a purpose and that they have something to contribute to the learning process. In my classroom, mistakes might happen, but they result in growth. I believe in creating an atmosphere of trust and respect for students to learn and mature.
