7-12 School Counselor Email Phone: 715-546-3321 About Me I attended elementary, junior high and high school in Three Lakes. I have a bachelor’s degree in biology education, and I taught junior high and high school science for 11 years. I taught in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Milwaukee and Minocqua. I also have a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. I am currently the 7-12 dean of students and curriculum coordinator and head of student services. I am completing my master’s degree in school counseling through the University of West Alabama. My wife is a kindergarten teacher in our district, and together, we have a son, Colton, and a daughter, Harper. We live on one of the 28 lakes on the chain, so we spend a lot of time on the water. I am a fishing guide and tournament angler when I am not at school. I am also the varsity basketball coach at our high school. My Teaching Philosophy I chose a career in education because I truly enjoy working with students to help them achieve their goals and dreams. Every person has his/her own unique story, which should be celebrated and respected. It is an honor to work with all students in our district on their academic and career planning process. As part of the academic and career planning process, students are taught to be productive citizens while achieving a personalized education through a wide range of educational and co-curricular opportunities. I strive to develop meaningful relationships with all students, families, local businesses and other community organizations. This will help foster a relevant and purpose-driven experience for all students in the Three Lakes School District.
