About Me

This is my second year at Three Lakes, and I absolutely love my job and the community! I grew up in Superior, Wis.  During my educational journey, I earned a bachelor's degree in education from UW-Superior. I also was a member of the UW-Superior Yellowjacket Women's hockey team. After finishing my degree, I moved to Woodruff, Wis. to work as a sea kayaking guide on Lake Superior. This experience gave me the opportunity to work as a professional intern at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo. for a semester. I then moved back to Woodruff and took an alternative education teaching position at Lakeland Union High School (15yrs). During this time, I started a family and completed my master's in education with an emphasis in experiential education through UW-LaCrosse. I enjoy kayaking, mountain biking and skiing with my daughters, Zoe and Lily, and our dog Nala.
