About Me

My name is Steve Gruszynski, and I am the Three Lakes Elementary principal as well as the director of technology for the district. I have been in this position at Three Lakes since Fall 2014. Before moving into this position, I worked in the Elcho School District for 17 years, teaching at the elementary, middle and high school levels. I also served in roles there as activities director, director of technology, and I coached at multiple levels.

I graduated from UW-Madison in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education as well as a second major in history. I completed my Master of Arts degree at Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wis., and I am licensed as a principal and director of instruction in addition to my teaching credentials.

I grew up in Marinette, Wis., with four sisters in a family where both of my parents were educators. I met my wife while working in Elcho, and we have three daughters. In my free time I enjoy cross-country skiing, walking, biking and reading.
